Arrive in good time before your chosen entry slot. The castle is located at Avenue de Chillon 21, so allow a few minutes to find your bearings on arrival. Pick up your explanatory brochure and map at the entrance, both included with your ticket and available in 17 languages. Audio guides and guided tours are not included but may be available separately on site.
Getting around the castle
Chillon Castle is a multi-room historic complex spread across several levels, so comfortable footwear is advisable. The 300 or so items on display are spread throughout the interior, so take your time and use the map provided to navigate between the rooms and courtyards.
