The Cappadocia Authentic Pottery Workshop Experience is a hands-on craft session in Cappadocia, the Central Anatolian region long associated with the Hittite and Ottoman ceramic traditions. Avanos, the area's historic pottery centre, sits on the Red River and has supplied the region with wheel-thrown earthenware for centuries, making Cappadocia one of Turkey's most established pottery destinations.

Participants work at a potter's wheel under the guidance of a local craftsperson, shaping clay using traditional techniques passed down through generations. The session covers centring, pulling, and forming basic vessel shapes, with finished or in-progress pieces typically available to take home. Tickets cover the full workshop duration, use of materials, and instructor guidance throughout.
