Panoramapunkt

Panoramapunkt sits at the top of the Kollhoff Tower on Potsdamer Platz, one of the most architecturally striking addresses in reunified Berlin. The tower, designed by Hans Kollhoff and completed in the late 1990s, rises above a square that was once divided by the Berlin Wall and has since been rebuilt as a symbol of the city's transformation. Visitors reach the observation platform via Europe's fastest panoramic lift, which ascends to the 24th floor in under 20 seconds, opening onto sweeping views across the Brandenburg Gate, the Tiergarten, and the city's layered skyline.

The experience at Panoramapunkt goes beyond the view itself. Current offerings include VIP admission paired with a glass of Cremant or with coffee and cake, allowing guests to take in the panorama at a relaxed pace. A permanent exhibition on the history of Potsdamer Platz traces the square's journey from imperial-era hub through wartime destruction, Cold War division, and its dramatic post-reunification reconstruction.
