Sphere

Sphere is a purpose-built immersive entertainment venue on the eastern edge of the Las Vegas Strip, distinguished by its vast spherical form and the largest LED screen ever constructed for an interior space. The building was designed by Populous and developed by MSG Entertainment, and its exterior is itself a canvas, covered in programmable LED panels visible from across the city. The interior wraps audiences in a seamless curved display that stretches across the entire bowl, paired with a spatial audio system engineered to deliver sound to every seat independently.

Currently showing at Sphere is The Wizard of Oz, a production that uses the venue's full visual and audio capabilities to reimagine the classic story at a scale no conventional theatre could attempt. The curved screen places audiences inside the landscapes of Oz rather than simply in front of them, making the building as much a part of the experience as the production itself.
