Arrival and timing
The park supports up to 14 hours of activities, so arriving early in the day gives you the best chance of covering the full site before closing. Head straight to the main entrance with your ticket ready, and collect any life jackets or inner tubes you need from the relevant stations as you go.
Getting around the park
Xcaret is a large, spread-out site with distinct zones including beaches, natural pools, underground rivers, and wildlife areas such as the Coral Reef Aquarium, Butterfly Pavilion, Aviary, and Island of Jaguars. Wear comfortable, water-friendly footwear, and expect to walk considerable distances between areas. Hammocks, lounge chairs, and shaded lounge areas are available throughout the park if you need to rest.
