Scentopia

Scentopia is Singapore's first large-scale fragrance attraction, located on Sentosa Island. Built around the science and culture of scent, it invites visitors to explore Singapore's rich botanical heritage through an immersive, hands-on environment. The attraction draws on the island nation's deep connection to tropical flora, particularly the orchid, which holds the status of Singapore's national flower and forms the centrepiece of many of the experiences on offer.

At its core, Scentopia offers guided perfume workshops in which participants craft their own signature fragrance using orchid-derived and tropical scent profiles developed in collaboration with local researchers and perfumers. The Orchid Perfume Workshop is among the most popular of these, walking guests through the principles of fragrance construction in a setting that blends education with creativity. Situated within the broader leisure precinct of Sentosa, Scentopia occupies a distinctive position in Singapore's cultural landscape, offering an experience rooted in the country's natural environment rather than its more familiar urban identity.
