Arrival and getting in
Make your way to the entrance on Rue Viollet le Duc and have your ticket ready to present on arrival. A printed booklet is included with your entry and will help you navigate the château at your own pace. If you would like a more guided experience, audio guides are available to hire on site for an additional charge and are offered in French, English, German, and Dutch.
Getting around the château
The visit is self-guided, so you are free to explore the rooms, towers, and courtyard in your own order. Wear comfortable, flat-soled shoes as the floors and staircases throughout a medieval-style fortress can be uneven and steep. Out of respect for the site, please keep noise to a considerate level and follow any instructions from staff regarding restricted areas.
