O tym miejscu

Petřín Tower stands on the wooded Petřín Hill on the left bank of the Vltava, offering one of the most distinctive silhouettes in the Prague skyline. Built in 1891 as a smaller interpretation of the Eiffel Tower for the General Land Centennial Exhibition, it rises 63.5 metres above a hill that already sits roughly 130 metres above the city, giving visitors a panoramic view across Prague's rooftops, spires, and the winding river below. The tower is reached on foot through the hill's parkland or by the historic Petřín funicular railway.

Alongside the tower itself, the Petřín complex includes the Mirror Maze, a playful hall of distorting mirrors housed in a mock Gothic pavilion that has delighted visitors since the same 1891 exhibition. Entry tickets currently available cover both the tower and the Mirror Maze, allowing visitors to explore both landmarks in a single visit. Together they form one of Prague's most recognisable hilltop destinations.
