Arrival and timing
Arrive in good time before you plan to enter each site, as queues at popular venues such as Pompeii can build quickly, particularly in the warmer months. Where a venue offers skip-the-line access, your card covers this, but check at each site on arrival as the provision varies by venue.
Using your card across sites
- Your card is valid for the number of admissions shown on the card type you selected: one, two, or five entries across participating sites.
- A downloadable digital audio guide is included; have it ready on your device before you set off to avoid relying on connectivity inside sites.
- Temporary exhibitions and special events are not covered unless the venue states otherwise, so check locally on the day.
- Guided tours and transport between sites are not included in the pass.
During your visit
At archaeological sites such as Pompeii, wear comfortable, flat shoes suitable for uneven ancient surfaces. Keep noise to a considerate level in galleries and monuments, and follow any photography rules posted at each individual venue, as policies differ from site to site.
