Burnout Paradise is a high-energy theatrical experience created by Australian collective Pony Cam, playing at the Astor Place Theatre. The Experience

Four performers mount treadmills and attempt to complete an escalating series of increasingly difficult tasks while running. The catch: the outcome is genuinely uncertain. What the performers achieve (or fail to achieve) determines how the show unfolds, making every performance singular. The result is a euphoric, visceral celebration of human effort, failure, and persistence that has audiences cheering, laughing, and occasionally holding their breath.

The show premiered at the Melbourne Fringe Festival and has played to enthusiastic audiences in Australia, the U.K., and the U.S. The New York premiere at St. Ann's Warehouse in 2024 was a hit, leading to this return engagement at the Astor Place Theatre.
