The Cutty Sark is one of the world's last surviving tea clippers, moored permanently at Greenwich in south-east London. Built in 1869 and launched at Dumbarton on the River Clyde, she was designed for speed on the trade routes between Britain, China, and later Australia. At her peak she was among the fastest sailing ships afloat, capable of covering over 360 nautical miles in a single day. After decades of commercial service she was preserved at Greenwich in 1954, and today she stands as a Grade I listed monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site component within the Maritime Greenwich ensemble.

Visitors can explore the ship across multiple decks, taking in the original hull, the vast collection of merchant navy figureheads displayed beneath her copper-sheathed bottom, and exhibitions charting her working life and the era of sail. The Rig Climb experience allows guests to ascend the rigging for views across the Thames and the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Afternoon tea is also served aboard, combining the ship's seafaring atmosphere with a more leisurely visit.
