À propos du lieu

À propos de ce lieu

The Berlin Wall Panorama, located close to Checkpoint Charlie in central Berlin, is home to Yadegar Asisi's monumental 360-degree panoramic artwork depicting life in divided Berlin. The cylindrical installation presents a vast, photorealistic scene of the Wall as it stood in the early 1980s, capturing the stark contrast between East and West through extraordinary detail and atmospheric lighting. Asisi, one of Germany's most celebrated panorama artists, created the work to bring the reality of the divided city to life for those who never experienced it firsthand, as well as for those who lived through it.

The museum draws visitors from across the world who come to understand one of the twentieth century's most defining symbols of political division. The current on-sale experience, Asisi Panorama: Die Mauer (The Wall), is available with a skip-the-line option, allowing visitors to move directly into the immersive installation without waiting at the entrance.
