Arrival and timing

The guided tour runs for approximately 35 minutes, so arrive in good time before your scheduled start. The tour begins in Avoca Village, so make sure you know your meeting point before you set off. Note that weaver demonstrations are subject to staff availability on the day.

During your visit

The mill is a working factory, so follow your guide's instructions and stay with the group throughout. Out of respect for the weavers and their work, keep noise to a minimum and avoid touching equipment unless invited to do so.

After the tour

Once the guided section is complete, you are free to browse the onsite retail store at your own pace. The mill also has a café serving cakes and lunch dishes, though food and drink are not included in your ticket.
