The Delphi Archaeological Museum stands at the sanctuary of Apollo on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, roughly 180 kilometres north-west of Athens. It houses the finds excavated from one of the most significant religious sites in the ancient Greek world, a place where city-states and rulers once sent envoys to consult the famous Oracle. The collection spans centuries of votive offerings, sculpture, and bronze work, with the Charioteer of Delphi among the most celebrated surviving bronzes of antiquity. Architectural fragments from the Temple of Apollo and the Treasury of the Athenians give a sense of the sanctuary's original grandeur.

Visitors exploring the site and museum can now do so with an audio guide, which provides commentary across both the archaeological grounds and the museum galleries. The combination allows for a fuller understanding of how the sanctuary functioned as a pan-Hellenic centre of religion and diplomacy, drawing pilgrims and dignitaries from across the Mediterranean world.
